| Abstract: | The objective of this study is to assess which sectors of the national economy, considering only the publicly traded corporations, feature best financial indicators during the period from 2008 to 2012, classifying them into three groups, according to the economic-financial performance. The analyses are performed by statistical methods such as Factor Analysis and Cluster Analysis(CA) or groups. Thus, the analysis of these indicators offers relevant information about the behavior of companies and sectors that are included. |
