Abstract: The diversity and advantages of conducting polymers have made these materials good candidates for biosensors for they can act as intermediates in interaction and transduction processes. In this third and final part, we will give an introduction to the use of conducting polymers in biosensors, as well as the types of biosensors and techniques used to immobilize biomolecules will be covered in this review.
