| Abstract: | From a famous passage of Adorno’s Negative Dialectics, according to which there would be a relation of protokinship (urverwandt) between exchange principle and principle of identification, this paper seeks to reflect about the intercategorial transitions of Adorno’s critical theory, such as, in particular, those between epistemology and social theory. After discussing some characterization models of these transitions, this paper problematizes its foundations and limits. |
