Resumo: The present article sought to reflect on the presence and forms of approaches of the themes: "body, gender and sexuality" in the Early Childhood Education of the public network of a city located in the center-west of Minas Gerais/BR, in order to map pedagogical practices and knowledge about these issues. For this purpose, a semi-structured questionnaire was used as a methodological resource that made it possible to conduct interviews with five teachers, three generalists and two specialists working in this stage of basic education. The study evidenced the emergent need for discussions about the subject in the continuing formation of the interviewed teachers, since in gerund lines they start from a normative and naturalized idea of gender relations and expressions of sexualities, as it also revealed the absence, or even the theoretical superficiality in the initial formation of the deponents, in relation to the themes, which affects in some way their pedagogical interventions, it is enough to observe that in some circumstances they resort to the intuition to base their actions, thus reducing the possibilities of experiences to childhood education.
