Resumo: In recent years, the tubular digesters have been used for the management and treatment of swine wastes for convenience and simplicity. The lack of information about energy composition of these structures, restrict the implementation of energetic analyzes. The aim of this study was to evaluate the estimated energy involved in the construction of anaerobic biodigestors used for the management and treatment of swine waste. Components involved in the construction of anaerobic biodigesters was quantified and transformed in energy units. This way, the quantity was multiplied by their respective energetic coefficients. The results indicated that the construction of biodigesters consume 490,179.59 MJ of energy. The most significant energy component in energy consumption were flexible PVC geomembranes (29.33%), followed by pipes and tarps sealing with 28.45% and 21.06% energy consumed, respectively. Considering the useful volume of the biodigestors, the energy index determined was 225.89 MJ m-3.
