Resumo: The objective was to evaluate the percentage of sugar cane bagasse associated with Eucalyptus wood in different levels and types of adhesives in the particleboard production. The panels were produced with bagasse in percentages of 25%, 50% and 75% complemented with the wood of Eucalyptus; the adhesives used were Urea-Formaldehyde (UF) and Phenol-Formaldehyde (FF) to 6%, 9% and 12% (based on dry weight of particles). In the pressing of the panels 40 kgf/cm² of pressure was used; at a temperature of 160ºC for UF and 180ºC for FF, for 8 minutes. The UF adhesive was statistically equal to or greater than FF in almost all properties evaluated. The treatment that presented the best result was UF at 12% and 75% of bagasse, meeting the values stipulated by the CS 236-66 standard, except for the elasticity modulus. The panels produced with 6% of UF and 75% of sugar cane bagasse also met the standard in all properties, except for the elasticity modulus; and this is the most economically viable alternative. It is suggested that this line of research be continued, including the handling of the variables of production, and studies on the interaction between the Eucalyptus wood and sugar cane bagasse, so that all results comply with the values proposed by the standard.
