Abstract: Objectives:Knowingthe perception offeelings in7universitywheelchair, compared tophysical barrierswithin theeducational institution, symptomsof depressionand interactionwith fellowstudentsofthe university.Materials andMethods:This wasa descriptivecross-sectional studyamong sevengraduate studentsin wheelchairs,men(5) andwomen (2)aged20 to 25years.Data collectionwas obtained throughself-ratedquestionnaire, composed ofobjectiveanddescriptivequestions.Access toparticipantsoccurredwithin the universityattendedby the researcher,at home andvia the Internet.Results:All wheelchair users alleged that universities didn't offer adequated access and 71,5% said that, in front a lack of physical access, they felt dependent to do some activities. About the interaction with colleagues, 14,2% attach the lack of accessibility as a factor that impede the interaction, 42,9% said that it happens only in some situations. The feelings related by the wheelchair users in front the obstacles were 'exclusion and anger' (42,9%), 'embarrassment' (28,6%) and 'revolt' (28,6%). Conclusion:Wheelchair students were unanimous to respond that the lack of access don't influence on school performance. It was not observed significant relations with lack of accessibility, school performance, interaction and depression incidence.
