Abstract: The different land uses can have great influence on soil physical properties and thereby change its quality. The aim of this study was to evaluate the physical attributes of an Oxisol under different environments and soil depths. The experimental design was completely randomized (DIC) in a factorial 6 x 2, and 6 environments (Corn cultivation, Banana, Nim, IAFP, Pasture and Savanna Native) and two depths (0-20 cm and 20-40 cm) with four replications, thus making a total of 48 experimental plots. The attributes evaluated were soil bulk density (Bs), total pore volume (TPV), macroporosity (MACRO) and micropores (MICRO) and penetration resistance (PR) of the soil. The different environments (Corn cultivation, Banana, Pasture, Nim, Savanna native, and Crop-Livestock-Forest integration) have no influence on the physical attributes of Ds (bulk density), VTP (total pore volume) MACRO (macroporosity) and MICRO (micropores) in the depth of 0-20 cm and 20-40 cm in an Oxisol. The Banana and Corn environments have higher values of TPV and MICRO and lowest Bs and MACRO, regardless of the assessed depth (0-20 cm and 20-40 cm), unlike grassland environment. The PR (soil penetration resistance) in the environment under neem cultivation has higher rates in both depths (0-20 cm and 20-40 cm).
