Resumo: | Science on the chemical composition of fish marketing in the scenario becomes essential, since consumers are increasingly aware of the product of better nutritional quality and processing, which will determine the quality of product, income and commercial cuts. Thus, the objective of this study was to evaluate the chemical composition and yields body of Brycon orthotaenia stocked in cages at different densities. The experiment was conducted in completely randomized design, using 5.280 juveniles, which were distributed in 16 cages of 4m³ of four stocking densities (45, 70, 95, 120 juveniles/m³) and four repetitions. During the experimental period fish were fed to apparent satiation with commercial feed 40% crude protein. At the end of the experiment was performed despesca total net cages, the fish was stunned by the spinal section. Then 10% of each fish cages were weighed and dried to obtain the corporate earnings, and ground to study the chemical composition. The data were subjected to the Lilliefors test for testing for normality. Subsequently, the data were subjected to analysis of variance and linear regression, choosing the best fit equation to the data. There were no significant differences between treatments for yield and body chemical composition. Evaluating the results, it can be concluded that the stocking density of Brycon orthotaenia up to 120 fish / m³, did not represent a negative effect on the yield and body chemical composition of fish. |
