| Abstract: | Recognizing the popularization of ecosocialism in contemporary public debates and the loss of part of its meanings in this process, the article seeks to rescue one of its support bases –the humanism -, through (i) a brief exposition of the main elements of theoretical-practical characterization of ecosocialism; (ii) rescue of its bases from a naturalist humanismthat emerges from the work of Karl Marx; (iii) distancing ecosocialism along its own structural lines from other anti-humanist ecological currents, taking the formulations of Daniel Bensaïd, Daniel Tanuro and Michael Löwy. |
