| Resumo: | It is intended to make a brief analysis of Balzac’s novel The unknown masterpiece, seeking to approach the “failure” or the “success” of Catherine Lescault – Frenhofer’s painting, central character of the novel –, in the light of the concepts of ichnography and diagram, as elaborated by philosophers Michel Serres and Gilles Deleuze, respectively. |
