| Resumo: | Gasoline type “C” is the fuel marketed as a blend containing solvents, naphtha, and anhydrous ethanol. The anhydrous ethanol in gasoline must be 27% ± 1, by volume, according to the ANP. Therefore, the objective of this paper was to analyze the volumetric content of anhydrous ethanol in gasoline type C of fifteen gas stations in Lavras (Minas Gerais), in the 2018-2020 triennium, and monitor the compliance with the regulated specifications. To assess the ethanol content, the test tube method, regulated by the Brazilian Standard (NBR) 13992/2005, was used. The results indicated a positive transition in the 2018-2020 triennium, once 73.33% of the stations were out of the specification, and, in 2020, 13.33% exceeded the allowed range. Finally, it is inferred that there was an improvement in the fuel quality in these three years. |
