Abstract: Current concept of the subtractive manufacturing process is basically defined as a procedure of gradual removal of material obtaining new products, and with the high manufacturing demand for the development of these industrial products, cutting tools have come to have special attention. In this sense, finding process monitoring and control solutions that can represent the real work of a machine tool is part of the modernization of industrial techniques. The objective of this work is to develop a universal voltage and current control and monitoring system, which can be applied in any operating equipment, with the aid of the LabVIEW R virtual programming platform, which, in a graphic way, a human-machine interface was established. . Through the assembly of an experimental bench in the laboratory, the voltage and electric current signals were monitored at the rotations of 1200, 1500 and 1800 rpm, with the motor rotating without the presence of mechanical load, commonly called no-load motor, subjected to friction in the shaft. and with a resistive load, which simulated the increase in mechanical stress in a machine tool. From the results, it was verified that the treatments speed and torque were statistically significant, since with the increase of these factors, there were increases in the values of electric voltage, electric current and, consequently, an increase in power, corroborating works by other authors, and indicating that the data collection platform proposed in this work was effective.
