Abstract: In this research, we approach the concepts Psychopathology and Psychodynamics of Work as methodological contributions to the analysis and evaluation of factors related to suffering and psychic illness in work environments. Christophe Dejours, leading a group of researchers linked to the Laboratoire de Psychologie du Travail in Paris since the 1980s, has brought to light approaches that concern the organization of Work and its impacts on the mental health of the worker. Therefore, the main objective of this article is to elucidate that such methodologies can contribute to analyses, evaluations and interventions in this field. As a way of linking the Dejourian theory to the practice of activities related to worker health and safety, a bibliographic review was carried out and a descriptive study of the trajectory and distribution of scientific production on the subject of Psychopathology and Psychodynamics of Work was carried out, articulating such methodologies to programs, public policies and legal guidelines. Finally, we indicate how organizations can approach and strengthen the mental health care of workers subsidized by Dejours' propositions and suggest indications for future research.
