Resumo: The present work presents two articles that take as a starting point the neoliberal rationality in education and its consequences. The first text consists of a bibliographical and qualitative research that aimed, respectively, to conceptualize the principles of human dignity and the State of exception to interpret the following question: do the foundations of Brazilian educational public policies contribute to the ineffectiveness of the principle of human dignity? In this sense, Resolution CNE CP 02/2019 was taken as an analytical paradigm of neoliberal rationality in education. In the end, considering the inherent characteristics of neoliberal policies and the paradigmatic document, it was possible to conceive them as factors that postpone the effectiveness of the fundamental principle of human dignity. Afterwards, the second article tried to answer the following question: what are the consequences of neoliberal rationality in education from the concept of bare life in Agamben? For this, the investigation aimed to conceptualize the concept of naked life in the work Homo Sacer: the sovereign power and the bare life, by Giorgio Agamben, after, the research used the postulates of Rolnik, Dardot and Laval as keys to interpret the consequences of neoliberal reason on education. In the end, among the fruits of neoliberal rationality in education, the production of a subjectivity standardized to the interests of capital, the need for the precariousness of public educational services and democratic access to public education, and the disconnection of intellectual formation, stand out critical and citizen with a view to operating the intellectual and subjective colonization of human bodies according to the designs of capital.
