Resumo: This work presents a teaching-learning sequence (TLS) for the electromagnetic induction law, based on social constructivism, active methodologies and DICT. The work was motivated by the growing need of promoting the development of scientific culture among students. The Sequence was developed with two groups in the last year of the High School, of a military school in the south of Minas Gerais. The chosen theme for the classes has been inquired by ENEM and students usually have difficulties to understand it. The choice of methodologies met the suggestions and interests of the students themselves, who anonymously answered a questionnaire. The research was an exploratory qualitative study that, based on students’ answers, aimed to verify the effectiveness of the activities proposed by the TLS in promoting the knowledge. Data analysis sought to identify whether the classes were able to promote the development of scientific literacy and students' autonomy to observe daily life, identifying and knowing how to explain how different electric power plants, based on electromagnetic induction, work. In addition, we also tried to verify whether the TLS could promote the development of skills to solve problems such as those proposed by ENEM.
