Abstract: Cement packaging stands out for the volume generated in the construction sector and the difficulty of reuse or recycling. In this context, this study aimed to evaluate the effect of substituting different amounts of cement packaging waste on the physical-mechanical properties of cement: wood panels. The experimental plan involved five treatments (T1:T5) in composing the panels with 0, 25, 50, 75, and 100% cement packaging to replace eucalyptus wood. The panels were produced with a nominal bulk density of 1.25 g/cm³ and pressed with 4.0 MPa for 10 min. Subsequently, the panels were conditioned at a temperature of 20 ± 2ºC for 28 days. The gradual replacement of wood with cement packing increased the percentage of water absorption and swelling in thickness. The elasticity, compression parallel to the surface, and perpendicular traction mechanical properties modulus were reduced with the gradual replacement of cement packing. However, the rupture modulus (MOR) showed better results with an acceptable limit rate of up to 23.17%. A maximum of 30.25% replacement of the cement package is recommended according to the perpendicular tensile test (PT), by the Bison process criteria (1978). The interference should be evaluated for the purpose of adjusting the replacement of cement packaging according to the use and environment of the cement: wood panel.
