Abstract: The dicefaly or diprosopia is an anomaly of low occurrence, that can affect any cattle in development, can be to happen of complete or incomplete form. Characterized by duplication of facial structures and/or neural, including malformations of the spine and skull bones, several factors are associated with the appearance these abnormalities, as poor management, ingestion of toxic plants during pregnancy, environmental factors and high rate of consanguinity are relevant data to consider. These anomalies incompatible with life, cause significant economic losses in livestock, for having their causes are still unknown and reach different species.
