Abstract: | The native species of freshwater fish of higher commercial value and interest in artificial fish are migratory species. However, the reproductive process of these species has been affected by several anthropogenic factors, which highlights the construction of dams, which become an insurmountable barrier in the migratory route of these animals. In order to, minimize this impact, fish farms, mainly from power plants has been producing fingerlings of the species most affected for subsequent release of these animals in rivers and reservoirs. However, fish farms are several barriers for the use of protocols in the reproductive process of fish. Given this, the aim of this review was to address the reproductive efficiency of indigenous species of freshwater fish. |
