| Resumo: | The aim of this study was to describe the abnormality found in the semen of boars and highlights the importance of assessing these characteristics in determining the quality of the ejaculate. Was evaluated in a total of 1.107 ejaculates from 147 animals. Each ejaculate was performed wet preparation and subsequent evaluation for the presence of morphological changes. The data were subdivided into two groups based on the number of morphological changes present. The mean sperm changes were within the values recommended by the Brazilian College of Animal Reproduction and the changes in tail and proximal cytoplasmic droplets were the largest impact on the overall morphology. |
