Abstract: This study aims to analyze the formation of public spheres of solidarity economy in Brazil through the identification of public debates around the theme and, from then on, understand how they were formed and what are the public, subordinate and dominant spheres, on the solidary economy in the last 20 years. To start the study, bibliographical studies were carried out with the purpose of understanding the discussions about the public sphere category and its consequences through Habermas' studies, in addition to also understanding his studies on communicative action, with the objective of subsequently identifying the public spheres of the solidarity economy. The context of solidarity economy was also presented, in addition to conceptual discussions by authors such as Singer, França Filho and Laville, Gaiger and Coraggio. To develop the research, a first stage was carried out, which involved bibliometric research on the field of solidarity economy and public spheres, to then analyze, through documentary research, public debates, public spheres and their influences in the field through critical discourse analysis. As a result, we found, through selected national events of the solidarity economy, several public debates around the referred field, with emphasis on the following themes: legal framework, public policy of the solidarity economy, gender and race issues, production, commercialization and solidary consumption, public finance, sustainable development, among others. After analyzing these public debates, it was possible to identify the dominant (public policies for solidarity economy; legal framework for solidarity economy; creation of SENAES and restructuring of FBES) and subordinate (conceptual debates on solidary economy; ITCP's and their methodologies; mental health in solidarity economy; solidarity economy and curriculum) public spheres formed by those active in the solidarity economy movement and the influences that these had on the system, such as the creation of SENAES, FBES, CNES, the Information System, the Fair and Solidarity Trade Fair, Solidarity Economy Training Centers, among others. It is expected that the research will have an impact both at an academic level, as well as for the various actors that work directly with the solidarity economy, in order to highlight the advances already achieved around the articulation, participation and control of the actions and policies developed and the need to continue to act actively so that more policies are developed and that the solidarity economy is a permanent agenda within Society, the Market and the State.
