Abstract: The fallow is a period in which no crops are sown, and which increases the planned plant seed bank in no-till areas. The seed bank is capable of conserving plant species in the area by replacing invasive plants that die naturally or due to environmental disturbance. Invasive plants represent a significant obstacle for several agricultural crops around the world, and with fallow these losses only tend to increase with these plants, because they are hosts of pests and diseases and could release allelopathic substances. which can interfere with the establishment and development of plants. To solve this problem, vegetation cover can be used to help suppress weeds through physical, allelopathic and biological effects.
