Abstract: The research will problematize the proposal of emotional education within the scope of the "Life Project" component, as envisaged by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). It will highlight the importance of discussing behavioral issues within the curriculum and how this can benefit students' formation. Building on the understanding that school is a conducive environment to explore emotions and develop social skills, the research will focus on the importance of integrating emotional education in schools and in teacher training categories. Drawing on Psychoanalysis, issues such as adolescent anxiety and the role of school in students' social formation will be explored. The study also proposes to analyze the impact of teaching emotions on social life, with the elaboration of three scientific articles on the opening of the BNCC to this topic, emotional education, adolescence, and diversity in schools. The conclusion will emphasize the importance of investing in teacher training and integrating emotional education across all disciplines and school activities, as well as public policies that value this approach to ensure comprehensive education that meets students' socioemotional needs. A proposal for an educational product will also be presented as theoretical support for reflecting on the development of emotional education in teacher training.
