dc.description.abstract	A new obligately cavernicolous (troglobitic) species of the planthopper family Kinnaridae is described from Brazil. It could not be placed in any of the existing genera, thus a new genus is established. Information on its distribution and ecology is given. This is the first record of a troglobitic representative of this family from Brazil, and only the 5th cavernicolous kinnarid species worldwide.	pt_BR
