Avaliação do rendimento escolar dos alunos com deficiência intelectual no contexto escolar da rede municipal de Lavras – Minas Gerais

Abstract

The attendance of students with disabilities at school has led those responsible for the educational system to develop and create strategies for teaching practices. Thus, this article intends to analyze the evaluation process of students with disabilities who are currently in Basic Education in Elementary School I of municipal schools in Lavras, Minas Gerais. Methodologically, this is a research with a quantitative approach and the data were collected through a questionnaire and interviews applied to six teachers from the municipal network, focusing on the criteria and strategies used in the process of school performance evaluation. The results show that a more comprehensive reflection on how the school approaches and applies the assessment of students with intellectual disabilities in its context is needed.
