Congenital anomalies of the uterus in pigs are uncommon. Among these, there is unilateral uterine horn agenesis, defined as an alteration of the fetal formation that results in the non-development of the paramesonephric or Müller ducts. It is associated with recessive genes and is considered a hereditary alteration. The objective of this work was to report a case of unilateral uterine horn agenesis in pigs resulting from crossbreeding between the Landrace and Large White breeds. The absence of a uterine horn in pigs does not make the animal infertile, contrary to what may occur in cattle, but with the presence of only one horn the number of piglets born is smaller, thus jeopardizing the reproductive efficiency of the female.pt_BR
