Abstract: In pedagogical coordinator position of a federal institute of education the author examines a discipline (Silviculture and Environmental Education) of the Technical Course in Agriculture, in the distance education course. Then, is built and presented a new teaching plan for the course, trying to put into practice the principles of theoretical bases from Paulo Freire, José Armando Valente, Maria Elizabeth B. Almeida, among others. For this, the following points are reviewed: the printed materials; the activities proposed to students through the Virtual Learning Environment and in presencial moments; the pedagogical mediation; monitoring strategies and continued training for teaching team; and organization of moments of reflection, by the realization team and aim any new redesigns of discipline. The Technical Course choice in Agricultural for distance education is also justified to be sought by many students who failed to complete the course in the presencial option, who are children of family farming, and have great interest in learning. It is understood that such work can collaborate to occur significant changes in pedagogy used in this and other courses aiming to improve dialogicity discipline studied and also to be an example to questions and changes in other disciplines of other distance learning courses.
