Abstract: This article addresses the need for greater understanding of innovation between Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in Brazil. The study focuses on analysis of primary data and has for objective to analyze the interfaces and delimitations guidance for innovation of MSEs Brazilian. The research was developed from the deductive method with approach quantitative by use statistics with primary data collection, as to the nature the research is applied, as to objectives is descriptive and as to the procedures she is a survey. Was applied a pretest with twenty companies and, subsequently, a questionnaire semistructured with 689 MSEs who agreed to participate, using a sampling probabilistic to a confidence level of 99% and a sampling error of 5%. The study offers two conclusions important. Firstly, confirms that there is not a typical challenge faced by MSEs with relation to its approach to innovation. The challenges for innovation can be perceived along three dimensions: the conception of innovation, the implementation of innovation and functional area of innovation. Secondly, the data confirm that the MSEs Brazilian generally possess chronic difficulties marketing of their innovations.
