Abstract: The competitiveness had been alreadythe motive of studyofmany frameworks, it been analyzed also, upon many differents analitical point of views. In this particular study this theme was took back again, pointed however on two recents theoretical references of analysis in literature, the Transactional Economics of Cost and the Neo-Schumpeterian Theory. As the subject of study, ali attention was focused upon Eggs Agribusiness Chain of Bastos, located at northwest of São Paulo - Brazil. Bastos detain an respectable account of 26,5% of egg's production ofthe State, and 11% ofthe national production, showing thus its competitiveness power to concerning to the products eggs. As the propose to this dissertation work the competitiveness aspect was studied on three distincts dimensions: The Governance Structure, the Coordination Structure and Technological Learning. In order to obtain better didatic sistematization this work was subdivided in six chapters. The first one discussed an quick revision about main theories concerning to the Egg's Agribusiness Chain. The second one we discussed upon historical evolution of this chain, arising how its structuration results in a powerful cluster ofproduction until early days. In the third one, its competitiveness was analyzed from differents kinds ofgovernance presented, raised up that its conformation permit him an configuration that join the mechanism of control to the mechanism of incentives proportioned by the market. In the forth one, was determinated that the coordination ofthis chain is in function ofmany organizations placed in Bastos, and in runction of its own peculiar institution environment too, making possible the intense flux of information, which the quickness and efficiency drive on its agencies into a precise adaptation to the transformations of environment. In the fifth one, we had discussed about the aspects of cumulative capacitations of tacits technological learning, incoming along oftime, sincethe pioneer managers until now, as a result oflong productive tradition in Bastos chain. And fínally in the last chapter, we took an entire vision of the inducer fectors of this competitiveness, the futures tendencies ofthis activity and an propose-asking to future studies.
