| Abstract: | In this paper, I propose to analyze comparatively the "method" advocated by Rousseau (hypothetical and conditional reasonings) and the criticism that Fichte addresses it in order to point out, quite schematically, some aspects of the philosophical method in the political field, especially regarding the classic topic of the criticism of Western civilization. |
