Abstract: In this work, an approach to wave concepts, which is part of the master's research carried out in a high school classroom, through the methodology of the scientific theater, was aimed to verify if the planning, production and execution of an intended didactic sequence , enables a conceptual and interactive learning of the fundamental concepts related to the theme. A sequence of seven planned and developed classes on the subject in the form of theatrical dynamics was constructed. As a closing of the activities, a production of the students was presented, consisting of a staging, in the form of a musical, of the song entitled "Como uma onda", written by Lulu Santos / Nélson Mota. For the development of the work we used the qualitative research methodology where we analyzed the records of the field diary and the material developed by the students in the learning activities. These data were important for interpretation and analysis, through them, we could have a vision, if not total, but very approximate of the reality that we were investigating.
