Abstract: | The aim of this paper was to identify, in a logging company located in the Alto Paranaíba region, quality management characteristics of Quality Management aimed at Total Quality Management (TQM) and one of its current approaches, the Routine Day-to-Day Management (GRD). To achieve this, data were collected at the company's paper focus, through an interview with the production and observation manager seeking to achieve the alignment between theory and practice. Among the results, the feasibility of the proposal of application of the GRD to the priority microprocess identified in the company, namely the production process of the main product of the company, the door, was discussed. Aiming for continuous improvement, the CEDAC methodology was suggested, in order to encourage employee participation in the search for continuous improvement of the activities carried out on a daily basis. |
