Abstract: Digital information and communication technologies have caused changes in the form of communication and social relationship, with repercussions on social practices of reading and writing. This is because, through the combination of different forms of language expression, multimodal texts link the use of digital devices by presenting new ways to create and recreate stories, such as storytelling applications. For this reason, the objective is to describe situations of text production in orality, with children in the process of literacy, motivated from the application “Inventeca”. For this, an action research was developed with application, monitoring and production of oral narratives through the application “Inventeca” with children in the 2nd year of elementary school. Analysis was based on the studies by Soares (2002; 2019), Coscarelli and Ribeiro (2014) on digital literacy, by Marcuschi (2010) on orality. The study points out that the use of the application “Inventeca” as a digital resource that brings contributions in the process of production of oral narratives, regardless of whether the child is literate, because it allows the production of oral texts through the ludicity and the interactive process between the reader and the context of the narrative.
