O livro que “abre caminhos”: entre experiências de leitura, representações e afetividade

Abstract

Before the finding of a lady who kept her reading material over decades, this article aims to comprehend the relationship and the link that are established between the reader and the reading through the book. The text is part of a Master’s degree research, carried out at FE-Unicamp, bound to ALLE research group. The research was named The Book: object of study and memories of reading. It uses reports of reading experiences and the used material on schooling as objects of analysis, in order to learn the meanings attached to the reading and to the object-book, over the time. So, using excerpts of interviews and images of the action on reader and reading books, the work highlights the movements of interaction and affection that surround the reader and a reading material used in their schooling. Moreover, the theorical base was Chartier`s (1994, 1996, 1999) studies among other authors that show the book materiality as a trigger to reading actions.
