Abstract: | Recently the number of studies on the vegetative propagation by Arabica coffee cuttings has been increasing. For the rooting of Arabica coffee cuttings it uses plant hormones for the induction of the roots. However, to form organic seedlings, you can not use synthetic molecules in this process. Therefore, the objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of the tiririca extract, different dosages and types of humic substances in the arabica coffee cuttings. Cultivation shoots of arabica coffee were collected, where the cuttings were cut, containing at least two buds. The experiment was a triple factorial, 2 (without or with extract of tiririca) x 2 (humic or fulvic acid) x 4 (0, 10, 25 and 50 mg/dm³). Vegetative data were evaluated at shoot height (cm), survival, leaves remaining, leaf pairs, vigor and number of shoots. The length, area, volume, root diameter, fresh and dry mass of the root system. The activity of the enzymes H + ATPase, catalase, superoxide dismutase, alcohol dehydrogenase and esterase was also quantified. In the aerial part the best dose of humic substances was 0 mg/dm³. In the root part there were benefits with the dose of 10 mg/dm³ of humic acid in the presence of the extract of tarrya. The lowest oxidative stresses were observed at a dose of 10 mg/dm³ of humic or fulvic acid, regardless of the use of the extract. However, in the light of this, further analysis and studies on the use of tere extract and humic substances in the Arabica coffee crop are still required. |
