Abstract: In this article we use the training potential in the cinema to reflect on the recent documentary “The hunting ground”, whose plot deals with institutionalized violence by addressing the epidemic of cases of rape and sexual harassment in american universities, from an extensive field survey and permeated by impinged narratives of a stinging pain that pierces life. Through some notions of biopolitics and queer theory we made a contextualization of gender violence and we concluded our reflections on the ability of the filmic art as a possible extension of education based on feminist knowledge.
