Abstract: The aim of this study was to evaluate the microbiology of fruits in natura of different cultivars of strawberry. The strawberries in natura eight cultivars were evaluated for total coliforms, molds and yeasts and mesophilic aerobic three harvest seasons. There were detected the presence of total coliforms in any of the eight strawberry cultivars. Despite the higher incidence of mesophilic aerobic to cultivate Aromas and the high amount of molds and yeasts to grow Toyonoka, these results are lower than in the literature, which presumes to say that strawberries were grown on good agricultural practice.
