| Resumo: | This paper aims to discuss the scientificity of the field of Social Management. Since there is no consensus about what science is, four criteria of demarcation (between science and common sense) were chosen. Popper, Kuhn, Feyerabend and Santos. In order to delimit the field of Social Management, we made a choice based on the theoretical work of Tenorio and Cançado. From these four approaches and theoretical choice, the Social Management was analyzed to comprehend if it fits these criteria. As a result, we found that the Social Management has satisfied the criteria of demarcation of Popper, Feyerabend and Santos; however, has not fitted to Kuhn’s criteria. |
