Abstract: It is presented the possibility to investigate Career trajectory through the alignment between Social Constructionism and Pêcheux Discourse Analysis, sustaining an interdisciplinary approach for this Doctoral Thesis. The main goal is to investigate the Discourses about Career Trajectory of subjects with formative path and performance in the Business Administration area. It is intended to sustain the thesis that Career trajectory is a process, with mixed Meaning Effects, because the Discourses indicate dialogues, collisions and contradictions, reveling that changes in the trajectory are posterior constructions considering the subject-position. Specifically, this thesis aims: a) interpret the collisions, dialogues and contractions on the Discursive Formations, in the interior of the Discursive Fields; b) comprehend the construction of the Meaning Effects produced about Career trajectory. The corpus is constructed with (13) thirteen Life Stories with subjects with formative path and performance in the Business Administration area. The data was collected by: a) a TCFC; b) an interview guided by the Life Story method, supported by guided questions routine; c) field diary registrations. On the chapter that dedicates to interpret the collisions, dialogues and contractions on the Discursive Formations, in the interior of the Discursive Fields, it is interpreted that the Discursive Formations are built through addressing the peculiarities of the concepts of Work Stories, Occupation, Labor and Profession, that the Cronotopo (Space and Time) it is not chronological and not geographical, and the movements of the Discourses are built in the search to sustain the subject-position on the present time. The evidence of the dynamics of this movement it is on the multiplicity of the concepts of Career in the Social Constructionism approach, once they are analyzed by Pêcheux´s perspective they can be considered as subjects-positions thought one´s trajectory, and not concepts that defined the overall trajectory. On the chapter that dedicates to comprehend the construction of the Meaning Effects produced about Career trajectory, it is comprehended that the Events sustain the Social Practice that adequate according to the Meaning Effects produced about the Discursive Formations, considering the Ideology that each one of them remits in a specific Space and Time. It´s concluded that the Discourses about Career trajectory are plural, such as the practice and formation in Business Administration, and that collisions, dialogues and contradictions in the Discourses exist because the subject-position is built in the relation between subject and Context, in a complex dynamics through time and space, proving multiple perceptions about the same Event, producing different Meaning Effects. Therefore, it is considered that the main contribution of this thesis is to light out and show that polarizations and linearity on Careers are marks of a fail attempt in the subjects´ elaborations about the Events that provokes tensions into the Discursive Fields. However, when one´s considered Careers as movements and processes in construction, the subject and the professionals on the career guidance field, can brace the collisions, contractions and dialogues as characteristics of the trajectories, abstaining of a polarized Ideology that segregates and limits the perceptions about the Discursive Formations.
