Abstract: This study integrates actions of a research funded by the FAPEMIG-Universal notice that sought to understand the process of reading and writing in digital environments. The text aims to analyze the effects of practices with printed and digital texts in the process of writing acquisition and the relationship with text multimodality. Field research was chosen, based on the application of activities with 3rd grade children in the Initial Years. The research is based on the studies of Dolz and Schneuwly in the field of didactic sequence, Marcuschi on school genders, Street, Barton and Hamilton and Soares who explore letramentos associal phenomena, Rojo who expands the studies on multiletramentos, Coscarelli on digital letramento. The effects of textual multimodality are the expansion of the lexicon, the interaction between children and the process of teaching and learning. It is noteworthy that the issue of school literacy as an institutionalized form of teaching and that the knowledge of the textual gender that passes through issues of multiletramentos.
