Abstract: This article aims to corroborate the understanding of the terms isomorphism and innovation when treated together for the analysis of organizations. For this purpose, a theoretical essay is used that aims to objectify the understanding, in the light of the literature, about the combination of these concepts and about the positive and negative influence of innovation and isomorphism practices in organizations. This study presents an outline for understanding the cyclical phenomenon of innovation and isomorphism present in the market and the deepening of this practice in organizations. For this, this study presents a graphic proposal of the Dynamics of the Innovation and Isomorphism Market, involving the market and its capacity to absorb innovations.
