Resumo: Based on Michel Foucault’s course The Hermeneutics of the Subject, this article examines the concept of psychagogy and its development throughout this author’s thinking, aiming to update a problematization to advance in the inquiries about the truths that underlie contemporary education. In doing so, the argument that psychagogy can be experience with educational veridictions, beyond its pedagogism, is constructed. Thus, instead of normalizing (1) the contemporary conditions of education based on the achievement of indices and results, of homogeneous competences and attitudes of demand, and (2) the emphasis that is restricted to the teaching-learning relationship, there is the attempt to show how psychagogy contributes to the affirmation of singularities and differences, and to the constitution of subjectivities marked by the modification in the way of being of the subjects and, therefore, articulated with other games of truth.
