Abstract: The objective of this project is to analyze a didactic sequence developed to lead students to analyze, discuss, raise hypotheses and draw conclusions about the relationship between thermodynamics, thermochemistry and metabolism with the human body. Considering the need to use methods that can stimulate students' creativity and participation, favoring student-student and student-teacher dialogue through activities, thus promoting a broader understanding of the subject and contributing to the development of skills such as argumentation, empathy, critical thinking, hypothesis raising and skills such as the ability to carry out group work and solve complex problems. Thinking of a current topic that could generate discussions, that would arouse interest, desires and desires to understand and test their knowledge, we chose to work on thermodynamics and the human body, a topic that can awaken in students the desire to expand their knowledge. . Because it is an interdisciplinary subject that involves knowledge of Physics, thermodynamics, Chemistry, energy values and Biology, metabolism, in addition to other implied knowledge, we hope that, at the end of the sequence, with the use of the proposed resources, the students are able to establish a relationship between these contents and everyday situations experienced by them.Data collection for analysis was based on participation, socialization, materials written by students throughout the process, their participation in discussions, where the groups presented their observations, analyzes and conclusions after each activity, and the notes made in the logbook. During the activities, students discussed aspects relating to the knowledge of energy and its relationship with the functioning of the body, associating Thermodynamics and related disciplines. At the end of the sequence, the groups made posters, podcasts, folders, which allowed us to understand the contribution of this study in the construction of the teaching-learning process.
