Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to present an investigation among the assumptions of learning theories (behaviorism, Intelligences Multiple and Constructivist Theory) and its symmetrical relationship to the possession and practice epistemologies found in the literature of knowledge management. They were identified Symmetry relationships between methodological Behaviorist Theory and the epistemology of possession and his individual approach / functional and that learning is very similar to structural models of knowledge conversion. The Multiple Intelligences Theory in conjunction to the radical behaviorism are situated on an intermediate range of alignment to the possession and practice epistemologies. Finally, the Constructivist Theory approaches to the epistemology of practice valuing the collective and dynamic aspect of knowledge. These findings contribute to a greater understanding about assumptions of learning theories in the epistemologies of knowledge management
