Abstract: The objective of the work is to analyze dialogues allowed by the film Wall-E to understand Critical Environmental Education (EAC) from an educational practice fulfilled with undergraduate students in Biological Sciences at UFLA. After showing the film, the students discussed and they wrote down the questions they noticed to understand the EAC. The statements were categorized using the Content Analysis Method. We conclude by the formulated categories that the work helped to build knowledge and reflections on contemporary themes which the film speaks about openly or for its gaps. We also consider the importance of animations, as they act as cracks for understanding reality in a playful and thought-provoking way, which can be applied in class to problematize environmental issues.
