Abstract: The present work aims to discuss the use of video animations in the classroom, considering the linguistic, semiotic and discursive aspects. In order to achieve this objective, it starts with a theoretical study on the contributions of working with multisemiotic texts as a didactic-pedagogical proposal. To this end, the theoretical line of Social Semiotics and Pedagogy of Multiliteracies is adopted. Thus, among the authors that support the study carried out, Antunes (2015), Rojo and Almeida (2012), Rojo and Barbosa (2015) and Zozzoli (2012) stand out. In addition, a proposal for the analysis of the video animation Springproduced by Blender Animation Studioand made available on You Tube by the channel AnimalsReview is presented.
