Abstract: The present essay discusses the competitiveness as from a systemic and complex approach. In a special way reflects on how the theme is being conceived in the teaching of physical education and is proposing a new look to it in these fields. The Competitiveness is dealt as a condition to overcome personal interdicts in social life, to achieve self-discipline and promote mutual collaboration. By means of the game, competitiveness arise as a promising space of ethical and humanizing development and constitutes himself as a possibility of sharing collective projects and practical exercise of the virtues.
