Abstract: Information Technology (IT) services have proliferated around the world because of the emerging demand from society to use technological resources as a means of solving problems. Within these services, we have the offer of solutions requested by the customer, which demand from the service providers, fast deliveries at increasingly challenging quality levels. Therefore, the provision of IT services has become an increasingly critical area. Several Standards, Models and Standards have been used in order to structure the processes and activities of IT Service Delivery. In this context, the Brazilian Federal Public Administration (APF) appears as the largest consumer of IT services and solutions in Brazil. For this, the APF established processes in the Normative Instruction IN/ SLTI/MPOG 04/2014 and Guide of Contracting of IT Solutions. These processes were created based on Law 8.666/93, with the purpose of guiding the contracting of IT solutions, products and services in Brazil. This paper presents the Proposal for an Approach to Provision of Information Technology Services to the Federal Public Administration by Brazilian Companies, with the objective of minimizing potential conflicts between APF and the Brazilian Software and Services Industry.
