Abstract: Scientific research is a set of actions proposed to find solutions to a problem. The teachinglearning process, centered on the transmission and reception of scientific knowledge, is a problem and should give way to the construction of knowledge, involving a conceptual profile change for students and educators regarding scientific activity. With this, the aim was to understand the impact of science education, with an emphasis on astronomy, electricity, and concepts related to black holes, on the development of scientific and environmental education for elementary school students. Starting with an educational project in the municipality of Nepomuceno, we initially sought to arouse children's curiosity about astronomy, the moon, the sun, black holes and electricity. In addition, we developed other integrating activities, such as building a community vegetable garden. As the project progressed, significant changes were observed in education concepts. In this context, reflected on the importance of an educational approach that promotes learning through exploration and playfulness. There was a recognition that learning is more effective when students have the opportunity to actively engage, play, and explore complex scientific concepts. Additionally, we analyze how the "CURUMIM de Nepomuceno"project contributes to the formation of citizens who are more aware of the relationship between science, society, and the environment, encouraging curiosity and interest in the world around them.
