Resumo: This research evaluated the contribution of using Moodle as a Virtual Learning Environment in teacher training for and through digital technologies in the context of the Municipal Education Network of Nepomuceno-MG. The study is justified because it seeks to make the best use of this environment as a digital tool, in order to promote hybrid education in its purpose of involving pedagogical practices of face-to-face teaching and distance education, for a more effective teaching-learning process. It is believed that it is important for teachers to become familiar with digital technologies and develop the ability to manipulate, interact and produce content within the VLE. To this end, in the investigation, a questionnaire via Google Forms was applied to the teachers, with objective and subjective questions, to identify the real training needs regarding the use of DICT in the Municipal Network. Then, a course was developed and applied using Moodle as a tool for hybrid education in the training of the participating teachers. In turn, the analysis and interpretation of the results obtained were carried out through the triangulation of qualitative and quantitative data, via case study, with collection from a questionnaire and interview with a semi-structured script consistent with the main concepts of the research. Thus, the methodology allowed, mainly: to analyze and raise the specificities of the training needs of the use of DICT of the teachers of the Network, creating an educational product compatible with Moodle; in addition, it allowed the researcher to theorize about the analyses, comparing the theoretical approach with what the investigation points out in its singularity. Therefore, it is considered that the advent of DICT opens new possibilities for education, such as continuous improvement in teaching and learning and, from this, it becomes possible to research on the subject in favor of the advancement of education, whether in person, distance or hybrid.
